Prime Minister of Great Britain Boris Johnson has announced the last stage of weakening the quarantine in England. The new regulations will be applied on July 19, BBC reports.

The government will lift the regulations concernng the number of visitors of weddings, funerals and homes of the elderly people. The entertainment establishments, including night clubs will get back to work, too. People will be able to be seated closer than 1 meter between them.

The government is also going to let the citizens wear the masks at will.

Johnson added that restrictions will be lifted at sport stadiums and during sport events.

"Mr Johnson said the ability to end a vast majority of legal restrictions in England was thanks to the success of the vaccine rollout in breaking the link between cases and deaths. But he warned cases were predicted to rise to 50,000 a day later this month and that "we must reconcile ourselves, sadly, to more deaths from Covid", the news agency wrote.

The British government will confirm lifting the current restrictions on July 12 - or not, depending on the latest data on the epidemic background in the country.
