Tokyo is considering the possibility of introducing its own restrictive measures against DPRK. This was reported by NHK.
"Japanese government is preparing its own package of sanctions against North Korea after ballistic missile launch," the message reads.
Japan intends to convince UN Security Council to adopt new sanctions against DPRK, thus it is waiting for support from Russia and China.
As it is known, North Korea test-fired another intermediate-range ballistic missile Pukguksong 2 on May 21. Pyongyang called the launch successful.
UN Security Council condemned the test, saying such action by DPRK’s authorities is "destabilizing behavior and "flagrant provocative violation".
