Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said that the issue of returning the annexed Crimea to Ukraine was closed only to the Kremlin and that it remained open to the Ukrainian side and the rest of the world. It was stated by the official during a briefing.
According to Kuleba, the issue of Crimea's de-occupation will remain open to the Ukrainian side until it gets the peninsula back.
"The issue of Crimea is closed only in the minds of the Kremlin. For the rest of the world and for the Russians themselves, who are not burdened with propaganda stamps, the issue of Crimea remains open until it returns to Ukraine," Kuleba said.
As we reported earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced the submission of an updated resolution "The situation with human rights in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, Ukraine" to the UN General Assembly by the end of 2020.
"The issues of Crimea and Donbas should not become commonplace elements of the international landscape where only reports, thematic meetings, and protocol statements on the anniversary of the occupation will be considered as a sufficient form of international reaction," he said.
