The governments of Israel and Morocco agreed to establish the diplomatic relations as U.S. President Donald Trump reported on Twitter.

Donald Trump was the mediator of the normalization of relations between the sides. He reported that Morocco agreed to establish the diplomatic relations with Jerusalem, and the U.S., in its turn, recognized the sovereignty of Morocco over Western Sahara.

“Another HISTORIC breakthrough today! Our two GREAT friends Israel and the Kingdom of Morocco have agreed to full diplomatic relations – a massive breakthrough for peace in the Middle East!,” Trump reported.
