Iran will increase the range of its missiles to more than two thousand kilometers and they will be able to reach the territory of Europe if Tehran feels threatened. This was stated by the deputy commander of the Corps of Guards of the Islamic Revolution, Brigadier General Hossein Salami, reports Reuters.

"If we are keeping the range of our missiles at 2000 km, it's not because we do not have enough technology to continue working. We adhere to the strategic doctrine, "he said.

According to him, by that time in Tehran, they believed that the EU was not a threat, and therefore did not increase the range of the missiles.

"But if the European Union wants to become a threat, we will increase the range of our missiles," he stressed.
