Iran tests ballistic missile first time over last year, - mass media

The USA reconnaissance satellites recorded the first test of Fateh-110, a ballistic missile for the first time over the past year. Fox News reports this with a reference to the official sources. 

According to mass media, the test took place in the Strait of Hormuz last week during naval exercises of Iranian revolutionary guard. Over 50 ships participated in the exercise.

At the same time, Iran didn’t officially state on the test launch of the missiles. The Pentagon thinks that the large-scale exercises of Iran are aimed at engaging attention of Washington because of the nuclear deal. 

‘It is clear that they use the exercises to show us their capabilities as the sanction period is approaching,’ the US Ministry of Defense claims. 

‘We recognize what is going on, and we still can protect ourselves by pursuing our objectives of freedom of navigation and freedom of trade in the international waters,’ the leadership of the US Army claimed.
