Representative of the Foreign Ministry Abbas Mousavi criticized European countries for insufficient efforts for the rescue of the deal and added that Iran stays in the nuclear deal, despite the gradual refusal from its commitment.
Iran insists on the fulfillment of the conditions of the nuclear deal by other countries because the possible reduction of nuclear commitments by Iran depends on it.
On January 5, Iran announced a complete withdrawal from the nuclear deal that was concluded between the Iranian authorities and six intermediary countries in 2015. Thus, Iran will not follow any restrictions imposed by the nuclear deal.
The decision was made after a U.S. airstrike killed a top Iranian general in Baghdad.
Later, Iran stated it would reconsider its cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in the event of any "unfair" measures of Europe in the dispute settlement mechanism for Iran’s nuclear program.
