President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reported that Iran agreed to involve Ukrainian experts into decryption of PS752 black boxes as TSN.Tyzhden reported.
“Iran already understands that we have more evidence than initially and this record is one of such important steps. Iran has already offered us to involve our specialists in the decryption of the black boxes. They invite us on Monday (February 3) to come to Iran,” he noted.
However, the Ukrainian side has particular concerns on the quality of the decryption in the territory of Iran.
“Frankly speaking, we are afraid of it because they may invite our specialists to their labs but then our specialists told us that they are not ready technically to correct real decryption. I am afraid that Iranians may involve our specialists, let’s decrypt them on the site and then they will say – why do you need the black boxes now. No, we want to take these boxes and we discussed it with the representative of the Iranian side and he said – if we fail to decrypt them, we will pass them to you…That is why, I think, if our experts will come there, they should have the mandate that in case of the non-complete decryption on the site, they may take the black boxes away,” the president noted.
