Interpol plans to consider the resumption of international search of ex-President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych on January 26 - 29. The Head of the Interpol office in Ukraine Vasyl Nevolia said this, Ukrainian News reports.
"I think that before the end of this month there will be a decision to search for Yanukovych. Session of the Commission for the control of Interpol's files will be held on January 26-29, they are going to discuss this matter there", he said.
According to him, the Interpol Commission has been considering the resumption of international search for Yanukovych for a long time due to the active position of his lawyers on this issue.
Interpol declared Yanukovych wanted on January 12, 2015, but in July of the same year the corresponding message disappeared from the Interpol website.
