Artur Panov, the Ukrainian citizen illegally held in detention in Rostov-on-Don, Russia, is alive – in spite of the piece of information spread by Russian media earlier today. Ukraine’s Consul General in Rostov-on-Don Vitaliy Moskalenko told that to 112 Ukraine TV channel.

According to the Ukrainian diplomat, another court session in Panov’s case is going to take place on Tuesday, May 2.

Earlier today, outlets Fontanka and Novosti Donbassa reported that Artur Panov, the Ukrainian citizen illegally detained in Russia, died in his cell; the cause of ‘death’ allegedly was heart failure.

The team of 112 International sincerely apologizes for the incorrect piece of information that showed up in our news feed.
