Road traffic will be considerably limited in Kyiv on August 22. The reason is the military parade rehearsal, slated for Wednesday. The press office of Kyiv City State Administration reported that, specifying that Khreshchatyk street and Maidan Nezalezhnosti Square are among those to be shut off.
The authority added that the streets will be closed for traffic from 5.45 p.m. till late evening.
Changes in the schedule of the municipal transport are made, with regards to the route of the parade rehearsal.
Public transport will be working two hours longer than usual on Independence Day.
Two central underground stations will be shut off for the entire period of festive events timed to the Independence Day, which is celebrated in Ukraine on August 24.
