Protesters march along central streets of Yerevan, Armenia

In Yerevan, thousands of protestors moved from the square in France along Mesrop Mashtots Avenue. This is reported by "RIA Novosti" referring to the data of its correspondent.

The protesters were joined by opposition leader Nikol Pashinyan. Before the column goes the orchestra, the oppositionists beat the drums and play other instruments, carry the national flags of Armenia.

According to the publication, motorists welcome the column with the help of sound signals.

Note, at 19:00 local time (18:00 Kyiv time) protesters are planning to start a rally on the Republic Square.

Earlier today, protesters blocked the central streets of Yerevan.

We recall, Nikol Pashinyan called for the resumption of mass actions on April 29, and on May 1 to go to the rally during the consideration of candidates for the post of prime minister in parliament.

Yesterday it became known that the ruling Republican Party in Armenia decided not to nominate a candidate for the post of prime minister.
