The Duplet improved combat module, intended for the modernization of armored vehicles, was successfully tested. This was written by Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko on his Facebook page.
"The Zhytomyr armored plant significantly improved the characteristics of the combat module and equipped it with an advanced fire system that allows you to watch targets in automatic mode, calculate ballistics of ammunition and conduct accurate fire both during the day and at night," Poroshenko wrote.
We recall, in April this year, the design bureau "Luch" (Kyiv) conducted a successful test of the Olkha missile complex. In summer, President Poroshenko promised to allocate more than 1.5 billion UAH for the purchase of new weapons, including missiles for this complex.
Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov stated that he expects that in 2018 the mass production of rocket launcher systems will begin.
