The proceeding of the impeachment of the President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe is introduced. The vice-president of the PACE and Ukrainian delegate to PACE Georgy Logvynsky reported this at Facebook.

According to the Ukrainian delegate Iryna Gerashchenko, the Spanish politician Jordi Shukla was also dismissed.

As known, PACE is in the critical situation. The lawmakers passed the no-confidence motion against Pedro Agramunt due to his cooperation with Russia and visit Syria. The Bureau PACE passed the no-confidence motion against Pedro Agramunt on April 28. At the session it decreed that Agramunt has no right to any official visits, attend the sessions or to utter any public declarations on behalf of the Assembly as its President. 

Agramunt was present at the Bureau PACE session in Prague on May 29 despite the preliminary agreement with Assembly's political groups that he will submit the resignation.
