The mission of the International Monetary Fund arrived to Kyiv. A representative of the local IMF office reported that on Tuesday, May 16.
It is expected that the officials will be staying in Ukraine until May 25. They will discuss pension reform, changes in tax and customs policy, as well as progress in refunding VAT.
The last time the Fund’s delegation came to Ukraine in November 2016.
In April 2017, IMF Directors Board approved assignation of 1 billion U.S. dollars for Ukraine; under the memorandum signed immediately after that, Ukraine obliges to complete the pension reform by the end of the year.
