IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva was accused of falsifying the international rating in the interests of China. This is reported by the Voice of America.

"The WilmerHale law firm has come to the conclusion that during the leadership of the World Bank, Georgieva ordered to modify the data in order to improve China's position in the international ranking Doing Business. The corresponding investigation was carried out at the request of the Ethics Committee of the World Bank," the statement said.

Kristalina Georgieva stated that the accusations against her were untrue. The Managing Director of the IMF declared her innocence during a previously scheduled meeting with the staff of the IMF. She indicated that she never pressured employees to change any data.
