Chairman of the public organization "Slave is not allowed to go to heaven" Ivan Spirinsky commented on the suspicion of Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovy of abuse of power on the TV channel "112 Ukraine."
"In my opinion, and I suppose, in the opinion of the majority of Lviv citizens, this is not the first case for which he should have been responsible. Let's remember the tragedy at the landfill, the system of illegal buildings, when Andriy Sadovy comes out and says that he has nothing to do with it and fights it, but he is fighting it for the third time and he can't fight against arbitrariness in the city in all directions. It just so happens that law enforcement officers have people who have been able to give him suspicion at least once in a while,” he said.
Spirinsky said there were two episodes of intent. The first was the signing of an investment agreement, while the second was the non-veto decision of the session.
"I do not rule out that Sadovoy will once again be able to make a sacrificial lamb politically and not be held responsible. But this will not mean anything that was not intended in his actions," Spirinsky noted
As we reported, Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine has handed Mayor of Lviv Andriy Sadovyi a notification on suspicion of the abuse of authority.
