The UN International Criminal Court in the Hague will define the schedule of consideration of the lawsuit filed by Ukraine against Russia. Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry reported that on Friday, May 12. The court will decide how much time Ukraine has to prepare the basic memorandum – the document where Kyiv is to present evidence in this case.

Last month, the UN International Criminal Court made an interim decision in the case; Russia is obliged to recognize the Mejlis of Crimean Tatars as a legally-acting entity and to stop persecuting national minorities in the occupied Crimea. However, no verdict was made concerning Russia’s support for pro-Kremlin militants in Donbas.
