“I will come back, I guess, till the presidential elections this autumn, in which Ivanishvili (current Georgia's President, - ed.), I am convinced, will lose. Certainly, he will be falsifying it, but it will not work,” Saakashvili said.
He also stated that Petro Poroshenko, the President of Ukraine, “talked” the Georgian Government to put Saakashvili in prison.
“I will return to Georgia. If they thought they could detain me and keep me, they would have taken me from Ukraine long ago. They cannot detain me because we have a strong support,” the politician added.
At the same time, Saakashvili said that he did not intend to run for the presidency in Georgia and Ukraine. Now, he lives in the Netherlands.
