Hungary resumed passing through the border of passenger buses from Ukraine. And also the country allows its citizens to enter without the need to stay in quarantine. This was reported by the State Border Service of Ukraine.

Citizens of Ukraine who enter a 30-kilometer zone are not sent to quarantine. Such persons will not be required to provide additional supporting documents for entry, but they must leave the territory of Hungary within 24 hours.

Entry into the territory of Hungary for the purpose of transit travel is permitted round-the-clock if the person has a document of permanent residence, residence permit, long-stay visa or other document confirming the right to a long stay in the country of destination issued by the official body of this country . In addition, the person must provide consent to check for the presence of Covid-19 and not have signs of suspected infection.

As reported, the Wizz Air resumed flights from the Kyiv International Airport to Hungary, Germany, Denmark, Estonia, Greece and the UK.

Earlier Hungary has continued blockade of the meetings of Ukraine-NATO commission after the provision of the new status in NATO. NATO provided Ukraine with the status of a partner of enhanced opportunities, as Yevropeiska Pravda reported citing NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg.

“Yes, really, the allies decided to provide Ukraine with the status of a partner of enhanced opportunities. Ukraine proved that it can be a valuable partner of NATO,” Stoltenberg said.

He added that the new partnership is the way to deepen the cooperation of NATO with Ukraine.

The decision of the adherence of Ukraine to the Extended Opportunities Program in NATO was made by consensus. It means that Hungary provided its agreement, despite the fact that it blocks the meeting of NATO with Ukraine.

“Concerning this issue (the Hungarian blockade of the meetings, -, it is not solved yet. I hope that we will find the solution,” the Secretary-General said.
