Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban congratulated Volodymyr Zelensky on the victory in the second round of the presidential elections in Ukraine, as his press service reported.
Hungarian Prime Minister confirms that he would continue to work for the development of the Ukrainian-Hungarian relations. Besides, he expects cooperation with Volodymyr Zelensky.
“In these efforts, I will count on you, and I look forward to cooperating with you. I wish you all the very best with your responsible duties,” Orban wrote.
The second round of the elections of the President of Ukraine kicked off in Ukraine on April 21, at 8 a.m. preliminary, Volodymyr Zelensky has won with over 70% of votes and current President Poroshenko gets about 25%.
Besides, Central Election Commission processed 100% of the protocols at abroad election district: Petro Poroshenko gained 54,74% of the votes, while Zelensky got 43,78%.
