Hungarian Ambassador expects positive settlement of dispute on education law issue

According to Keskeny, the Hungarian-Ukrainian relations have the tough time

Ambassador of Hungary to Ukraine Erno Keskeny expects the positive settlement of the dispute on the education law issue as Ukrainian News reported.

‘You see in the mass media, that we have the tough time for the Hungarian-Ukrainian relations and I hope that we will live through this time and we will succeed to find the joint decision on such issues that are the topic of the disputes’, he said.

Hungary protests against the new ‘Law on education’ and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary Peter Szijjarto claimed that the government of Hungary decided to block all further decisions of the EU that aim for the rapprochement of the EU with Ukraine. Also, Romania, Bulgaria, Russia, Poland and Moldova stood against this law.

President Petro Poroshenko signed the law of Ukraine #2145 VII ‘On Education’ on September 25. Also, Permanent Representative of Ukraine at the European Council Dmytro Kuleba claimed that the Hungary’s attitude will not influence the estimation of the European Council.
