Chairman of the House Committee on Intelligence Adam Schiff, member of Committee on Foreign Affairs Elliot Engel, and Acting Chairman of the Committee on Oversight and Reforms Carolyn Maloney published the transcript of the United States Interim Commissioner to Ukraine William Taylor’s interrogation. This is stated in the report of the House of Representatives' Committee on Intelligence.

"Testimony of Ambassador Taylor, a West Point graduate, Vietnam veteran and non-party diplomat, shows how President Trump withheld military aid to Ukraine and set the conditions for its granting, as well as for a vital meeting in the White House: President of Ukraine has to make a public announcement on the launch of an investigation into the debunking of Biden's conspiracy theory and 2016 election," the congressmen concluded.

According to them, Taylor's testimony also confirms the use of a shadow foreign policy channel that has had a huge impact on the Ukrainian leadership in promoting President Trump's interests. This channel was managed by President’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani with the assistance of US Ambassador to the EU Gordon Sondland and US Special Representative for Ukraine Kurt Volker.

As we reported earlier, U.S. ambassador to the EU Gordon Sondland told a Ukrainian official that his country would likely not get nearly $400 million of military aid unless they pursued investigations demanded by President Donald Trump, revising earlier testimony to the Trump impeachment inquiry. Reuters reported it.
