Claire Spottiswood, the Head of Naftogaz-Ukraine Supervisory Board has initiated the suspension of Yuri Vitrenko from CEO office of this organization. The reason is the signature by National Agency for Prevention of Corruption of Ukraine. This is mentioned in Spottiswood's statement.

It appears that the authority found Vitrenko's appointment to this office illegal.

"I called the snap session of the Supervisory Board to discuss the removal of Head of the Executive Board. In order to adhere by the high standards of due corporate management, I believe such removal meets the interests of Naftogaz and Ukraine", reads the message.

On April 28, the Cabinet of Ministers officially confirmed that Andriy Kobolev was fired from the managerial office of Naftogaz's Executive Board. On the day after that, Yuriy Vitrenko stepped in.
