Refat Chubarov, the Head of Mejlis of Crimean Tatars has urged the citizens of annexed Crimea to celebrate 2019 New Year at Kyiv time as he reported on Facebook.
“I am not interested whether you celebrate New Year or you do not…But I urge each of you, who live in temporarily occupied Crimea to go outside on December 31, 2018, at 0:00 at Kyiv time or to come to your yard (balcony, veranda) and celebrate the coming of 2019 with firecrackers, party poppers and fireworks. You should know that only drunken occupation cattle will come to the streets and yards of Crimea to celebrate it at Moscow time,” Chubarov stated.
Crimea was annexed by Russia by way of the illegal referendum that was held on the peninsula in March 2014. Earlier, the Russian military captured all strategic military objects and buildings of the key authoritative bodies. Neither Ukraine nor the rest of the civilized countries recognized the results of the referendum. A number of the European and the world countries, including Ukraine, imposed the economic sanctions against Russia.
