Particular people do not want the extradition of Oleksiy Levin, the suspect in the organization of murder of Kateryna Handziuk, and provided him with the lawyers, as Ukrainian News reported, citing Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine Viktor Trepak.
“People who do not want the arrival of Levin, have already engaged in this process and provided him and lawyers with all necessary. They do not want him to be extradited,” he stated.
The deputy prosecutor did not announce the names of people who assisted Levin.
He reported that if Levin agrees on the extradition on the simplified procedure then it will last for 30-40 days. In another case, it is hard to predict the time.
Trepak also noted that he does not know whether Levin appealed to the Bulgarian authorities with the request for political asylum.
