The Ukrainians make the half of all migrants in Poland. Veslav Belavski, the Deputy Mayor of Gdansk claimed this as RBK-Ukraine reported.

‘I am excited about the Ukrainians, I love them. There are the fantastic perspectives in Ukraine. The Ukrainians are nice people. Unfortunately, the problems appeared on the cultural and historical ground at the national level. The Ukrainians make the half of all migrants here. We try to integrate them’, Belavski said.

Moreover, according to him, Kyiv develops fast and dynamically.

‘Kyiv changed and transformed a lot during the last five years. I was there five years ago the last time’, he added.

Earlier it was reported that 589 000 Ukrainian or 17.6% of the total amount got the residence permit in the EU countries in 2016.
