As we reported earlier, Ukraine replaced Moldova as the leader of Organization for Democracy and Economic Development (GUAM). The press service of Moldova's Ministry for Foreign Affairs and European Integration informed about this.

Foreign ministers of the four-member countries (Georgia, Ukraine, Armenia and Moldova) held a session in Milan, where the ceremony took place.

"I am convinced that the tradition within the GUAM frameworks, which aims to work based on consensus, will let the member countries continue a fruitful and mutually beneficial cooperation on both the regional and the international level," Tudor Ulianovsky, Moldovan Foreign Minister, stated.
