President of Slovakia Zuzana Čaputová stated that significant progress is visible in Ukraine. She announced this on her Facebook page.

"Significant progress is visible in Ukraine. I see that strengthening legislation, the justice of the judiciary bodies and the fight against corruption are among the priorities of the president (Zelensky - ed.)," Čaputová said.

The President of Slovakia also praised the efforts of Ukraine's leader towards a constructive dialogue with Russia and ending the Donbas conflict. She also noted that the recent exchange of prisoners is an important signal that everything can be settled through the dialogue.

“I am deeply convinced that every country has the right to freedom of choice and a decision on how it will develop,” Čaputová wrote.

The Slovak leader believes that her visit to Ukraine on September 16 and her meeting with Zelensky will affect further cooperation between the two countries, which will yield positive results. Čaputová also noted that she had invited the President of Ukraine to Slovakia and specified that she was looking forward to the next meeting with him.
