The adaptive quarantine model in Ukraine will not be changed for the holidays, but Ukrainians should be responsible, careful and avoid mass gatherings. This was reported by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal on his Facebook page.
"The government will not change the model of adaptive quarantine for the May holidays, as it demonstrates its effectiveness: this week Chernivtsi and Odesa regions, where the dynamics of the disease have stabilized, have already left the red zone. Several more regions may join them next week," noted the head of the Cabinet.
He added that this week he discussed the issue of quarantine compliance with representatives of the All-Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organizations.
Earlier Metropolitan Epifaniy assured that the churches will be open for Easter, but the church will do everything possible to protect believers during a pandemic. Now the central government has actually transferred powers to the localities, and each community on the spot makes a decision depending on which zone they are in. If the community is in the red zone, the restrictions should be strengthened.
