The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decided to address the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine with a request to introduce sanctions against Russian publishing offices, which disseminate anti-Ukrainian propaganda. Vice-Prime-Minister Vyacheslav Kyrylenko claimed this on Twitter.
‘The Government decided to appeal NSDC to introduce personal economic sanctions against Russian publishing offices - leaders in the production and distribution of books contain direct calls for the transgression of the territorial integrity of Ukraine and destruction of Ukrainian Government,’ reads the message.
As it was reported earlier, the State Committee for Television and Radio-Broadcasting of Ukraine has extended the list of books not recommended for import in Ukraine. Two Russian books were included to the list. In addition, two outlets from the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions and four released in Ukraine were included to the list.
