Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk said that the current сomposition of government will stay as long as trust inside the team allows. He stated this at the Ukrainian Breakfast in Davos, Interfax reports.
"The government is not going anywhere. The government is still working. We are not planning to conduct any resignations, these are just rumors. There are many provocations and manipulations around the government right now. It is a dirty game that groups of influence, who are uncomfortable working in a country with an honest government, allow themselves," Honcharuk said.
The Prime Minister also stressed that he had no plans to go anywhere and was in excellent relations with President Volodymyr Zelensky.
"We will stay as long as trust inside the team allows. Now there are no problems with it. (…) I am not planning to go anywhere. We have great relationships within the team, with the president. We have excellent unprecedented interaction with all the highest authorities," he said.
As we reported earlier, Ukraine’s Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk has become involved in a serious scandal. An audio recording of the prime minister’s communication with the financial block of the government and the National Bank (NBU) was posted on YouTube.
According to the video, Honcharuk badmouths President Volodymyr Zelensky, calls his understanding “primitive” and believes that he has “a fog in his head.”
