The Cabinet of Ministers has completed the preliminary preparation of amendments to the state budget for 2020, while the new version of the bill saved the costs of infrastructure, culture and education. Prime Minister Denys Shmygal wrote this in Telegram.
“We completed preliminary work on changes to the state budget. It was a difficult process, but this is what difficult times require. Despite everything, the costs of infrastructure, development, culture and education have been saved,” Shmygal wrote.
According to him, the costs of the stabilization fund will be directed to additional payments to medical and other employees who are involved in the fight against coronavirus disease, financial assistance to pensioners, payments to Ukrainians who lost their jobs due to the spread of this disease, as well as providing financial assistance to domestic business.
As we reported earlier, as of 10:00 on March 29, a total of 418 laboratory-confirmed cases of coronavirus disease were recorded in Ukraine. 109 new cases were recorded per day. Nine proved fatal, and five patients recovered (four adults and one child).
