The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine can now hold meetings online. The corresponding decision was made at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on September 2. Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers Oleh Nemchinov stated this.
"As early as March 13, during the first stage of quarantine, the government provided for the opportunity to remotely participate in a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. Now we are expanding this regulation, which will allow us to generally hold a meeting online, as well as to transfer government committees that are permanent bodies for the coordination of draft regulatory documents that are submitted to a government meeting," Nemchinov said.
Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmygal added that the government will not necessarily switch to remote work, but there should be an alternative plan in the context of the coronavirus pandemic.
As we reported before, during the past 24 hours, 2,495 new cases of coronavirus infection were observed in Ukraine.
