This year's edition of Glastonbury, one of the most famous music events in Great Britain held since 1970 has been canceled due to coronavirus pandemic restrictions.
In 2020, the jubilee event was supposed to take place, the 50th edition was supposed to host performances by Paul McCartney, Talor Swift and Kendrick Lamar. However, the event was rescheduled for 2021 due to public health concerns. So, this year, Glastonbury will be postponed again.
'In spite of our efforts to move Heaven and Earth, it has become clear that we simply will not be able to make the festival happen this year. We are so sorry to let you all down", reads the message on the festial's Twitter account.
The guests who bought tickets back in autumn 2019 will be able to book an invitation for the next year's edition in 2022. The new scheduled dates are June 22-26, 2022.
It is specified that the event might take place between July 5 and July 25.
