U.S. President Donald Trump's personal attorney, Rudy Giuliani, has been lobbying the President to join his legal team in the view of his upcoming Senate trial, CNN reports

Giuliani has pressed Trump to make him part of the team of lawyers who will argue the case against his impeachment on the Senate floor.
Trump's attorney has argued that he knows the case against the President inside-out.
The White House declined to comment on it.
As we reported earlier, Rudy Giuliani, U.S. President Donald Trump's private lawyer, and a key figure in his impeachment, said that he was prepared to do more than just testify at the Senate trial, ABC News informed.

"I would testify, I would do demonstrations. I would give lectures. I would give summations. Or, I would do what I do best, I would try the case,” Giuliani stated.

"I do not know if anybody would have the courage to give me the case, but, if you give me the case, I will prosecute it as a racketeering case, which I kind of invented anyway," he added.
