Ukraine will receive one million euros from Germany for the implementation of the Council of Europe’s action plan. This was announced by German Ambassador to Ukraine Anka Feldhusen, the press service of the German Embassy reports.
"As chair of the Council of Europe‘s Committee of Ministers, Germany supports Ukraine's reform efforts. To demonstrate our support, we made an important financial contribution to the Council of Europe's Action Plan for Ukraine last year," Feldhusen said.
"The Council of Europe Action Plan for Ukraine 2018-2022" is a strategic programming instrument that aims to accompany the country in its efforts to bring legislation, institutions, and practice further into line with European standards in the areas of human rights, the rule of law, and democracy.
As we reported earlier, Ukraine and the Republic of North Macedonia have officially set the regular air traffic connection.
"We keep on expanding the freedom of travels for Ukrainians. Earlier, Ukraine and North Macedonia made a deal on the visa-free regime. And tonight (December 6, - 112 International), direct flight Kyiv-Skopje departed for the first time ever. From now on, our countries are linked with regular air traffic connection. It's the development of both tourism and Ukraine-Macedonia business contacts," Ukrainian Foreign Minister stated.
