Germany will provide Ukraine with 1.5 million euros for the purchase of medical equipment. It was announced by Ukrainian Ambassador to Germany Andriy Melnyk on his Twitter page.
"The Ministries of Defense (both Ukraine and Germany - ed.) have signed an agreement of allocation, according to which Berlin provides 1.5 million euros for the purchase of medical equipment (mobile X-ray machines, digital surgical machines, and angiographs)," Melnyk wrote.
As we reported earlier, the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign and Security Policy, Federica Mogherini, said that the European Community had made the largest investments in Ukraine.
"Since 2014, we have collected the largest support package in the history of the European Union for Ukraine - worth over 15 billion euros. We have invested in Ukraine more than any other country in the world. And no other partner has invested in Ukraine as much as we have," Mogherini emphasized.
She noted that throughout the years the European Union had always stood by Ukrainian people.
