For now, the German embassy is not going to react to the prank by Olexiy Honcharenko, the Ukrainian MP from Petro Poroshenko’s Bloc. 112 Ukraine TV channel reported that on Wednesday.
‘The press service of the German embassy in Kyiv said that they are not going to take any action in this regard. The police said it is up to the prosecutor’s office in Kyiv, because the police cannot take any action against the MP protected by the lawmaker’s immunity. However, the prosecutor’s office said it’s up to the police, since such action is an administrative violation, not the criminal act,’ the channel’s correspondent said.
Earlier today, Honcharenko painted the fragment of the Berlin Wall, which is located at the German Embassy in Kyiv in protest against the German Ambassador Ernst Reichel’s remarks about the elections in the Donbas region.
Previously, Reichel said that the local election in Donbas could be held even in spite of the Russian military presence, which strongly contradicts the Ukrainian law and OSCE SMM’s demands.
