The German authorities are ready to intensify the activities of Normandy format (Ukraine, Germany, France, Russia). This was reported by the press secretary of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko - Svyatoslav Tsegolko on his Facebook page.
"Germany is ready to intensify the work of the Normandy format and advocates more active involvement of the G7 countries in support of Ukrainian reforms," Tsegolko wrote after talks between the Ukrainian president and German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
"This is the president's eleventh visit to Germany in the last three years. For the first time the meeting with the chancellor took place in her suburban government residence, the Mesberg Castle, fruitful talks took place in a very friendly atmosphere," Poroshenko's press secretary added.
