“The presidency of Germany in the Council of the EU: July 1 – December 31, 2020,” the message said.
It is noted that the presidency of Germany will focus on its direct efforts to overcome the Covid-19 pandemic and support of the European economy in the restoration and strengthening of the social cohesion in Europe.
Besides, Germany will closely cooperate with Portugal and Slovenia to establish long-term goals and a common agenda.
