The Government of the Federal Republic of Germany condemned the statement of the leader of the Donetsk People’s Republic Alexander Zakharchenko about the creation of Malorossiya. The press secretary of the German government commented on the situation as DW reported.
‘Zakharchenko has no legitimate right to speak from this part of Ukraine. We expect that Russia will also condemn this step immediately, will not respect and recognize it’, he claimed.
Berlin finds the negotiations to be the only way to settle the Donbas Conflict. It also concerns the fulfillment of the Minsk Agreement.
The leader of the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Alexander Zakharchenko claimed about the creation of the new state Malorossiya.
According to him, ‘Donetsk will be the capital of Malorossiya and Kyiv remains as the historical and cultural center without the status of the capital city’. LNR will also join the pseudo-formation. The LPR militants denied participation in Malorossiya creation.
Zakharchenko also added that the state of emergency should be implemented in the state for three years. He also noted that the situation in Donbas achieved the stalemate and ‘such knot is tied that is impossible to cut’.
