Foreign Ministers of the G7 member countries have condemned the organization of illegal migration through their borders. The document signed by the officials and the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell appeared on Thursday, November 18, reports DW.

The statement says that Minsk's cruel actions put people's lives in danger. Heads of foreign ministries called on Lukashenko's regime to immediately cease the aggressive and exploiting campaign so as to prevent further deaths and suffering. The international organizations should get immediate and free access to deliveries of humanitarian aid for the migrants trapped on the border.

"The actions of Belarusian regime are an attempt to divert the attention from long-lasting neglection of international law, basic human rights and freedoms, including the rights of their own people", reads the statement.
