The foreign ministers of Germany and Russia met for the first time – since Sigmar Gabriel’s appointment, - in the German capital. The German authority’s press service tweeted that on Thursday.
The topic of their talks, which took place within the G20 summit in Germany, was resolution of conflicts in Ukraine and Syria.
Sigmar Gabriel was assigned for the ministerial office in late January.
The G20 summit in Germany, slated for February 16 and 17, will also address other topics like climate change, security and economic development.
