All funds that are envisaged for the support of businesses will be allocated from the special coronavirus fund. This was stated by Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Yulia Kovaliv, the press service of the Office reports.

"The president has introduced a package of bills to support businesses if a total lockdown is introduced. The amount of this support, which is planned to be provided to sole proprietors and sole proprietors, and directly to enterprises by the end of the year, reaches from 12 to 15 billion hryvnias (421 to 526 million dollars),” the statement said.

According to her, the Verkhovna Rada should adopt the package of bills initiated by Zelensky as soon as possible so that the government could allocate the appropriate funds by the end of 2020.

As we reported earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky claimed that the Parliament would soon consider a bill that foresaw one-time financial aid for the entrepreneurs who had had to shut down their businesses because of the quarantine.
