Russia’s FSB holds another wave of the search of the Crimean Tatars in annexed Crimea. Refat Chubarov, the Head of Crimean Tatars Mejlis reported this on Facebook.
According to Chubarov, the total searches are held in Karasuvbazar (now it is called Bilohorsk).
‘The Russian occupants entered the houses of Crimean Tatars entrepreneurs, philanthropists, activists of the Crimean Tatars national movement Ali Bariev, Asan Bariev, Remzi Veliliaev, Resul Veliliaev, Ekrem Veliliaev, Zera Veliliaev and their adult children who live separately’, he wrote.
Chubarov said that the searches are also held in other regions of Crimea.
‘The searches are held at the production bases and dozens of the company stores of the leading firm on the products distribution in Crimea ‘KrymOpt’ owned by Veliliaev brothers’, he reported.
According to Chubarov, the numerous forces of the special departments equipped with the small arms are located at all places of the searches. Also, the positions around the perimeter of the places of the searches are established. The workers of Russia’s FSB manage the operation.
‘Crimea reports that about 400 people gathered in Karasuvbazar near the office of ‘KrymOpt’. At the moment, the Crimean Tatars come to other places of the searches’, he wrote.
In its turn, Crimean Solidarity group reported that Ali Bariev was detained in the result of the searches.
The Veliliaev family is famous Crimean Tatars businessmen and philanthropists. The cathedral mosque was built for their money. Resul Veliliaev is a founder of Bekir Choban-Zade fund and initiation, philanthropist of the Bekir Choban-Zade award.
