French Navy vessel reaches Odesa for PASSEX drills

Ukrainian and French crews are supposed to exchange experience within the NATO standards

Commandant Birot, the ship of the Navy of the French Republic arrived in the port of Odesa. The crew will join the NATO drills called PASSEX. The press office of the Ukrainian Navy reported that on November 29.

The Ukrainian and French crews are supposed to exchange experience within the NATO standards. They will hold anti-aircraft and mine-clearing drills, practice in patrolling and connection. PASSEX drills are supposed to improve the crews' coordination.

The French delegation will join the solemn opening of the memorial for the deceased French airmen who perished in the First World War.
