Isabelle Dumont, French ambassador

French companies, which work in Ukraine, suffer corrupt practices in this country - even raider attacks. Isabelle Dumont, the French ambassador in Ukraine said this in an interview with one of Ukrainian channels.

'There are cases when our companies face manifestations of bribery, and that causes concerns; they report such cases to the Embassy and the business ombudsman. This is the issue that we address every day, along with members of the Ukrainian government,' she said.

'I can't say that the Ukrainian government does not help us in this at all. There are people there who clearly understand the problem and try to assist us, because they realize that there will be no investment without the trust,' Dumont added.

According to the ambassador, some French companies suffer raider attacks.

'The Ukrainian government is aware of such facts; it does not even deny them. So whenever such raid takes place, and the judge sides with the raiders - do you understand the consequences in terms of trust of foreign investors to Ukraine?', Dumont concluded.
