The medical reform in Ukraine will carry on; that, in particular, will include the 'Free Diagnostics' program. Volodymyr Groysman, Ukraine's Prime Minister posted this on Facebook.
'Based on the doctor's recommendations, a patient will be able to get services for diagnostics and treatment free of charge. That includes various analyses, mammography, five kinds of X-ray procedures, ECG and six varieties of ultrasonic tests'.
The government also plans to implement the pilot project of urgent medical assistance in Kyiv and five regions across the country.
'We're refreshing the material and technical basis of the ambulance service, conducting training sessions for medical workers. We also deploy the centralized e-system, so that the work of dispatchers' service becomes more effective. Next, we'll implement changes all over Ukraine', the Premier wrote.
Since January 1, 2020, new funding mechanisms will start working on all levels of medical assistance, Groysman concluded.
