French Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault said on Wednesday that Paris is ready for corresponding actions in the event of interference of other countries in the course of the presidential elections in the country, reports Interfax-Ukraine.
"We will not allow any interference in our election process, nor Russia, nor by any other country," Ayrault said.
France will set certain limits, "including corresponding measures when necessary, as no foreign state can influence the choice of the French and no foreign country can choose the next president of our Republic," he added.
Earlier it was reported that Macron’s staff accuses Russia of interference in elections. French presidential candidate’s main office calls government to stop “foreign meddling.”
